Let me guess, you are thinking about creating a blog or you are new to this world and would like to know how to have a successful blog, right? It's easier than you think, but it takes more effort than you realize. If you are really motivated and like what you're doing, then sure something good will happen. There is no magic formula to have the best blog in the ocean of the blogosphere but there are some aspects to take into consideration and some tips that can help you grow more easily and that is what I can help you with. I'm not a profissional blogger but since I love marketing and I'm starting in this world, I've already searched some tips and information on how to grow my blog and I'll be sure to keep these in mind. Domain and Hosting 

   One of the most important things to do if you want to have a successful and professional blog is to have your own domain. This means that the address of your blog will be something like "starsdiary.com" and not "starsdiary.blogspot.com", for example. You can choose the platform that best suits your preferences, but one of the best known is wordpress.org (I know, I'm not using it, but that's totally another subject for me to discuss). In Wordpress you can use Bluehost hosting (there are lots of options but BlueHost is one of the best known) that costs around $ 2.95 a month and the best of it all is that it automatically sets the basics of your blog, making everything else easier. Great, isn't it?

Theme

   To have a blog that others want to read, above all you have to make it presentable. There are several themes that you can choose and although most of them are paid, once you have it, it will be yours forever. We are not all programmers and designers so choosing a theme is a great option because you can have something to your liking without having to spend a lot of money. Keep in mind that the presentation of your blog will have a lot of weight in the feedback you receive from your readers, so choose something that suits your needs and is easy to navigate and modify to your taste.

 Content 

   What will be the theme of your blog or your niche? Are you going to talk about lifestyle, give fashion tips or show your readers your knowledge about technology? The content of your blog has to go according to the type of target audience you want to reach and in addition it has to be consistent. No one will follow a page that publishes an article sporadically so keep in mind the time you make available to create content and how you do it. Research on the subjects you want to talk about in order to have reliable sources, inform yourself of the trends of the moment and do it with passion. Your writing should be your greatest focus because it's the main reason people will stay.

Social Media 

   We all know that society is obsessed with social networks. Everyone has an account on at least one platform and if you want to attract a community, why not use it in your favor? You can use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or even Pinterest to connect with your readers and build a relationship of trust. Above all be yourself and show that you care. 

SEO

 Although these tips are for more advanced and experienced users, SEO strategies help your website grow. You can start by using the Google Analytics or Adsense plugin, for example, to keep up with your blog's growth, but if you want it to appear on Google search you can always use Google Adwords. There is multiple information about the different techniques used, do your research and find out the best method for you. 

   There are countless ways to make your blog more successful but keep in mind that it may take some time to get results. Do not start the project giving as guaranteed that in little time you will be known and much less create a blog to think about the money that you will be able to obtain. Start writing because it is something you enjoy and what you see yourself doing for a long period of time, create the best content you can and give put your heart and soul to what you want. Having a successful blog takes a lot of time and requires effort and willpower on your part. The results appear along the way and the path is in your hands.
